Glass sands

Glass sands are light colored to white minerals (silica sands and sandstones), which are being used after processing as raw material for the manufacture of glass. Quality requirements vary according to the type of glass produced. In the production of higher quality materials, it is necessary to reduce the content of coloring oxides by electromagnetic separation. Glass sands are being used in the manufacture of the glass batch for the production of flat glass, container glass, and some types of technical and utility glass. High quality sands are used for the manufacture of technical glass. SKLARSKE_PIESKY_682x350.jpg
