Glass industry
| Glass sands are being used in the manufacture of the glass batch for the production of flat glass, container glass, and some types of technical and utility glass. High quality sands are used for the manufacture of technical glass. Particular use in the glass industry is mainly for the processing of colored glass containers e.g. wine and beer bottles and bottles for popular sparkling wine.
