Foundry industry
| Foundry sands are being used in the foundry industry in the production of various components for the automotive industry, in foundries of grey and malleable cast iron, non-ferrous metals and aluminium. The automotive industry uses foundry sands for production of mouldings of the engine parts such as cylinder heads and brake discs. |
